Myanmar ICT Development Corporation Public Company Limited (MICTDC) is a key player in ICT development in Myanmar. MICTDC takes a very significant role for government and private collaboration. MICTDC is a consortium of 50 private companies established in 2001 in order to promote ICT development in Myanmar. Myanmar ICT Development Corporation Public Company Limited(MICTDC) established the first ICT Park in Yangon in 2002. Yangon ICT park provides broad band connectivity, reliable power, nature ICT Human resources, promotion of ICT business local and global level and incubation for the new start-up ICT entrepreneurs.
The 50 local firms in ICT parks perform software development, web development, security, network solutions, Geographical Information System, engineering solutions and information and data processing services.
