Myanmar ICT Development Corporation Public Company Limited (MICTDC) is a Key player in ICT Development in Myanmar. Establishing MICTDC is a very significant outcome of Government and private collaboration. In 2001 a consortium of 50 private companies’ pool together to form MICTDC to develop ICT Parks. One of the main activities of MICTDC is establishment of ICT Parks. The first ICT Park was inaugurated on 21st January 2002 in Yangon and the second ICT Park was opened in Mandalay on 16th August 2003. To achieve the public participation in ICT Development, MICTDC has been transformed from private to public company in June 2003. Our vision MICTDC will provide opportunities to leapfrog the social economic development of the country. Our Goal Our goal is to establish Myanmar as one of the Software Development Center and Exporter. Our Strategy Our Strategy is to develop an ICT Park with international-level facilities.
The 50 local firms in ICT parks perform software development, web development, security, network solutions and services.
